The authorities in Valle del Cauca are investigating a new incident of blood in the municipality of Cartago, where three people died and one more was injured. This event occurred inside a home in the El Rebaño neighborhood, when an armed individual arrived at this residence and shot at the people who were inside the place.
The victims were identified as Darwin Andrés Cardona, Álvaro Gómez Murcia and Danilson Jaramillo Betancur, all young people between 18 and 21 years old. Another young man who was also at the site was injured and is currently being treated at a care center.
“With criminal investigation and intelligence, our technical and human capabilities are going to allocate an exclusive group to clarify the material and intellectual authors of this triple homicide,” said Colonel Giovanny Cristancho, commander of the Valle Police.
After learning about this triple homicide, the authorities will hold a security council to determine the measures to be taken not only in Cartago, but in other municipalities in the north of Valle del Cauca, Well, we must remember that in this area of the department there is a raw dispute between the criminal gangs Los Flacos and the New Generation, to which they attribute the acts of violence experienced in this region.
