The authorities of the Cauda Valley are investigating a massacre that occurred in the municipality of Cartago. Three people were killed and one more was injured in the attack.

The events took place inside a home in the El Rebaño neighborhood. A murderer arrived at the scene armed with a firearm and shot indiscriminately at the victims.
According to research, Those killed in this massacre were identified as Darwin Andrés Cardona, Álvaro Gómez Murcia and Danilson Jaramillo Betancur, ages ranging between 18 and 21 years.
According to Blu Radiothe other young man who was injured in the attack is in a hospital receiving care due to the severity of his injuries.
Colonel Giovanny Cristancho, commander of the Valle Police, mentioned that “With criminal investigation and intelligence, our technical and human capabilities, we are going to allocate an exclusive group to clarify the material and intellectual authors of this triple homicide.”
After learning about this massacre that mourns the community, the authorities reported that they will hold a security council to take measures in Cartago and other municipalities in Valle del Cauca.
This area of the department suffers from a dispute between criminal gangs such as Los Flacos and the New Generation, to whom acts of violence are attributed in this region of the country.
