Aguas del Norte will begin this week with guided tours of the Campo Alegre water treatment plant, located in the town of La Caldera. This is a tour of the facilities with an explanation of the logistics and operations in the water purification process.
The company carries out, through the Quality and Processes program, the educational plan with the objective of raising awareness about the importance of such a vital element as drinking water and the need for responsible use. As part of the Program, guided tours are carried out for groups of no more than thirty people, where students from different educational institutions at the secondary, tertiary and university levels learn about the water purification process and the purification of sewage liquids, in addition to the importance of caring for water and the environment.
This week, and according to the schedule, students from the tertiary degree in Hygiene and Safety at the Jean Piaget Institute will visit the facilities on Tuesday and Thursday.
Those who want to participate must submit a visit request to the company’s commercial offices.
