Gregorio Álvarez Scholarships: They assist students in completing their applications

The pedagogical work team of the provincial program Redistribute Oportunidades, Gregorio Álvarez scholarships, began this morning the first of two days of accompaniment to students from the schools of Colonia Rural Nueva Esperanza and CPEM 44 Ciudad Industrial Jaime de Nevares who applied for the program.

The task, which depends on the provincial directorate of Socio-educational Policies and Equity of the Ministry of Education, will continue tomorrow in that sector of the city. It should be noted that this is an extraordinary and situated initiative, motivated by the needs detected in that area of ​​the capital of Neuquén.

From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., representatives of the space attended the 366 primary school to receive the families and give them advice to complete the required documentation in order to receive financial support. The director of that educational institution, Silvina Pellozo, accompanied the task.

The support provided includes other educational institutions in the area, such as kindergarten No. 61, primary school 154, primary school 175 and CPEM 44 specifically. It is aimed at supporting those students who signed up during the registration period at the beginning of the year and who, due to various situations, were not able to complete the application requirements (mostly, monthly income information was missing).

To date, the survey indicates that 12 applicants have to finish completing the documentation. In total, in the area the number rises to 66 students. In all cases, they were contacted to complete the registration process.

On the other hand, from the area they highlighted that the provincial program also offers pedagogical support; This is the link with the Provincial Council of Education (CPE), through teaching programs and training, diagnosis of the networking of schools with neighboring institutions, support classes and assistance to libraries, among other topics.

Finally, they announced that articulation work will begin in the territory with other ministries to respond to demands in a comprehensive manner.
