Starting next June 10, the Faculty will enable special containers at the entrance to Santiago del Estero 1029 to receive Waste Electrical and Electronic Devices (WEEE) such as cell phones, computers and their components, small appliances, monitors and televisions, among others. . There will also be another container for batteries.
The collected material will be removed on June 25, in a special operation coordinated by the Sustainable Social Programtogether with UBA Green and the Environmental Protection Agency of CABA.
WEEE is considered urban solid waste subject to special management, under the terms of Law No. 1,854, known as the Zero Waste Law. Their proper treatment allows the reuse of more than 90% of the recyclable components that these objects contain, as well as the responsible management of the parts that may contain waste that is dangerous for the environment.

While for entrepreneurs you will receive:
Disused umbrella;
Stockings of lost, broken and/or disused parts;
Disused hats, scarves, buttons and balls of wool;
Textile Jeans and shirts;
Milk/yogurt/other sachets;
Disused ecobags – friseline fabric;
Broken or punctured pool inflatables;
Broken or punctured inflatable mattresses;
CDs, DVDs;
Natural corks (not plastic);
Aluminum can plates.
