The Electronic Family Pocket is a non-applicable benefit, so the beneficiaries will receive the help directly in their RUT Account from Banco Estado.
The contribution was only delivered until April 2024, but the Government announced that an agreement was reached with the CUT, in which the Electronic Family Pocket was extended until next August.
Requirements to reactivate the payment of the Electronic Family Pocket in Chile
Those responsible for the Family Allowance and the Maternal Allowance of the Single System of Family Benefits, the Family Subsidy, and the families who are users of the Security and Opportunities subsystem are eligible to receive the Electronic Family Pocket. In the case of the latter, the following are included as part of the responsible persons:
- Person with disabilities, duly accredited in accordance with the qualification and certification established in article 13 of law No. 20,422
- Student with permanent special educational needs who participates in the School Integration Program of the Ministry of Education
- Student enrolled in an educational establishment with a special education modality recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Student from 18 to 24 years 11 months enrolled in an educational establishment at the basic, secondary or higher education level or other equivalent, recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Minors under 18 years of age.
