The latest monthly survey results Citizen Pulserevealed this Sunday, show that Evelyn Matthei continues to be the favorite in spontaneous mentions for the next presidential elections.

However, the mayor of Providencia experienced a drop of 2.3 percentage points compared to the previous survey, now positioning herself with 26.2% support.

For its part, José Antonio Kast, who occupies second place, also suffered a significant drop of 3.5 percentage points since the April survey, reaching a 12.1% in spontaneous mentions.

In contrast, ruling party figures showed an increase in their support. The former president Michelle Bachelet rose 2.7 percentage points, reaching 9.8% and placing itself in third place, very close to Kast.

The Minister Secretary General of the Government, Camila Vallejo, also experienced an increase. And it rose 1.7 percentage points to reach the 5.2% of preferences, ranking in fourth place.

Sharing the fifth position are the Minister of the Interior, Carolina Toháand the mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, both with 2.4% spontaneous mentions. Tohá increased 1.1 percentage points and Jadue grew 2.3 percentage points.

Additionally, Pulso Ciudadano included a new question in its May survey: “What candidate would you never vote for, excluding Gabriel Boric?” In this category, José Antonio Kast leads with a 28.6% negative responses.

While the rest of the candidates follow him with quite a distance. Among them, Camila Vallejo (7.1%), Michelle Bachelet (5.4%)Evelyn Matthei (5.1%)Daniel Jadue (3.5%) and Carolina Tohá (3.3%).
