Festive long weekend: More than 500,000 vehicles moved through Antioquia

The Antioquia Traffic and Transportation Police reported that the department currently has 23 prevention areas and checkpoints, for the return operation of this Corpus Christi holiday weekend.

The oldest, Víctor Andrés Franco, sectional chief of traffic and transportation of Antioquia, assured that they are advancing the national campaign, which seeks to prevent and generate the message of road safety and reiterate to drivers the responsibility with which they must travel on their journeys.

“It is important to highlight that given the arrival of 263,000 visiting vehicles to our department of Antioquia, in total the mobilization of more than 520,000 cars along all road axes, performance has been favorable, and we can give a piece of peace of mind,” argued the sectional chief of traffic and transportation of Antioquia.

Regarding behavior and observance of traffic rules, they imposed 150 summonses and carried out 157 intoxication tests of which the results were positive.
