A new case of road recklessness left one person dead on the road that leads from Neiva to the El Juncal town center.
The victim is Mr. Gilberto Antonio Granada, who died instantly as a result of the strong blow he received when colliding head-on with a special service bus at kilometer 7 + 400 meters near the La Sucia ravine in the jurisdiction of the municipality of Palermo.
Criminalistics units were present at the site to carry out the respective removal of the body, which was taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine. The responsibility that each of the drivers had in the incident is being investigated to determine responsibilities.
According to the authorities, the accident occurred due to invasion of the opposite lane. It will be the Traffic and Transportation Section of Huila, who, through the pertinent studies, will establish who incurred the road violation.
It should be noted that the subject who was driving the bus, as well as its occupants, were unharmed. It was learned that the deceased was dedicated to field work.
