The corruption scandal in National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) exposed by W Radio continues to add information on irregular contracting, non-compliance and cost overruns, such as the one published last May 30 in Porque La W, where it was evident that they amounted to more than a billion pesos.

Antonio Correa, Senator of the Party of La U, passed the microphones of La W to talk about some ‘pearls’ that he has also discovered in the entity, and that he has reported to the Congress of the Republic.

Also read:

“We have found several contracts that leave important questions, which come not only from the Olmedo administration in Risk Management, but from the previous one, with Eduardo José González as owner”he claimed.

What are the ‘pearls’ revealed in Congress?

Senator Correa referred to some pearls such as “the use of the N95 mask for a value of 35,000 million pesos in 2020, the audits that were ‘hand-made’ with works that ended up being carried by the river and the 900 fans for Care Units intensive, contract that was made with a company specialized in beverages, tobacco and liquors.”

Likewise, the congressman sets his sights on one of the strongest contracts, which are those that are directed to areas hit by violence and other social problems.
