To celebrate Quartet Day, a mega show is being prepared in Córdoba

On the occasion of Quartet Day, the provincial government will organize a mega event to celebrate the birth of “tunga tunga”. There will be live shows, tributes and interventions on public roads in different locations in Córdoba.

The celebration is in commemoration of the first presentation of pianist Leonor Marzano, creator of the Leo Quartet, on radio LV3. “On the 81st anniversary of that historic day, the Government of Córdoba, through the Córdoba Culture Agency, celebrates with activities to enjoy with the family”reported from the Government of the Province.

For their part, great figures from the quartet world will offer a free show in the city of Córdoba. Some of them are the following:

On Tuesday, June 4, a new anniversary of Quartet Day will be commemorated. The day will begin at 10 a.m., as Leonor’s sculpture will be honored with a floral arrangement at 200 San Martín Street. From 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the Rivera Indarte and 9 de Julio pedestrian street, there will be a stage for different activities.

There, it will be celebrated with live music, a dance performance and the Youth Academic Orchestra of the Teatro del Libertador will be present. Likewise, during the day, the different leading singers of the quartet will perform.

At the end of the day, at the Cuarteto Museum, tribute will be paid to Leonor and different singers of the genre will be honored. All activities are free admission.
