Cáritas Argentina launched a new edition of its traditional Annual Collection to help those most in need, which will take place on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 in all parishes, chapels and communities in the country.

From the Cáritas Santa Fe headquarters, located in Francia 1973, Martina, from the Communication area, commented that “the collection is very important, since thanks to what people contribute we can continue helping and working on the different projects.”

Furthermore, Magdalena, who participates in the movement in the San José de los Agustinos Recoletos Parish, added that “today the situation of Cáritas is complicated because, due to the economic situation of the country, donations, both monetary and in kind, have decreased. notably”.

It should be noted that, at the local level, the charitable institution carries out actions in education, work, early childhood, food response, habitat, integration of popular neighborhoods, addictions and different workshops seeking work alternatives.

These activities are also implemented throughout the 3,500 spaces present in the 67 dioceses of Argentine territory.

After the Annual Collection, from June 10 to July 10, Cáritas Santa Fe will carry out the home collection, where two thirds of the proceeds will be destined for the parish headquarters of Cáritas and the rest of the money collected will be for diocesan Cáritas, who It is divided between the most marginal locations of the city.

How to help in the Collection Annual?

To receive cash donations, envelopes will be distributed and piggy banks or urns will be displayed in parishes, chapels, mission centers and public places such as squares, avenues or supermarkets.
