Almost a month after the triple lesbicide in Barracas and the new anniversary of Ni Una Menos, the Cispren (Córdoba Press and Communication Union Circle) will hold the discussion “Women, diversities and journalism in times of cruelty.”
The activity, organized by the Cispren Gender and Diversity Commission, will take place this Tuesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at the union’s headquarters at Obispo Trejo 365.
It is part of the actions that are carried out for this June 3, the date on which the ninth anniversary of the Ni Una Menos movement is celebrated, which emerged in our country due to the exhaustion of sexist and patriarchal violence, the cruelest point of which is feminicide.
In addition to the discussion, in which journalists from different media outlets in the province will participate, a mural by local artist Prett will be inaugurated in tribute to Pamela Cobos, Andrea Amarante and Mercedes Figueroa, victims of the Barracas lesbicide, and Sofía Castro Riglos, a survivor.
Fernanda González (SRT), Karina Ortiz (Telefé News – Córdoba), Gabriela Tejeda (Radio Miter), Emilia Urouro (The Highlighter), and Paula Hernandez (National Radio Córdoba). The activity will be moderated by Consuelo Cabral (Cispren and newspaper The New Morning). Finally, the closing will be performed by the feminist choir Luna Verde.
