During an emotional ceremony that took place within the framework of the 67th anniversary of the Institution, certificates and medals of honor were awarded to recognize the work of those who have spent a lifetime putting their best at the service of members.

On the occasion, the president of the Organization, Lisandro Benmaor, highlighted and thanked the effort and merit of each of the honorees “who are part of this great family, in which we work with great pride and great responsibility.” His vice president, Iván Pelinski Venchiarutti, also participated.

Among those who received the recognition for 30 years of service was the head of the Department of Sanatorial and Home Visits, Karina Duarte, who was proud of the work provided for so many years in an Institution that she considers her second home.

“Thank you all for the effort and work of so many years!” they expressed from the pension organization.

The IPS in works

Currently, the province’s social solidarity work has more than 220,000 members served in the 79 delegations distributed throughout the country.

Under the management of its current President, they implemented cutting-edge technology, with the incorporation of the digital credential to facilitate access to their services.

-They created the Single Disability Office, a space to streamline all procedures, at the decentralized headquarters located at 3,426 Almirante Brown Avenue (in front of the La Piedad cemetery).

-They put into operation the Pediatric and Child Disability Care Center and tripled the number of Disability Centers agreed upon throughout the province, going from 11 to 33. There, services for therapeutic, physical, sports and recreational activities are provided.

-They incorporated the Directorate of Oncology, and the Departments of Nutrition and Mental Health. In addition, they inaugurated laboratories in Jardín América, Puerto Iguazú and Eldorado.

“The IPS is a cutting-edge social work that provides immediate responses, with priority to high-cost pathologies, such as cancer patients and chronic pathologies,” they highlighted.

They also emphasized that they work with the premise that “More Prevention equals More Health”, thus ensuring comprehensive and efficient care for all members.
