Yulissa del Pino is a former model and television presenter who became Miss Chile in 1994although she did not manage to advance to the second stage of the beauty pageant.
This event gave her greater popularity in the country and led her to become a prominent face on television, participating in programs such as «almost seriously«, «The basement” and “Chile Today«. However, in 2006 she decided to leave the small screen to dedicate herself to other aspects of her life.
Now, Yulissa del Pino reappeared on open television as a guest on the program «Now I fall” of TVNwhere he shared an important revelation about a delicate health moment he faced in 2023.

The cancer that affected Yulissa del Pino
In the program that aired last Sunday, June 2, Yulissa del Pino narrated the fight against cancer that she experienced last year, which led her to be operated on three times.
«Something that started as a flake and started to itch. QI realized it was a wart and every time I ran the nail it became inflamed.“he commented in the program hosted by Daniel Fuenzalida.
«So I went to the doctor, where they detected cancer.. The doctor told me that I would have surgery the next day under anesthesia and that the sample would be sent for a biopsy for 10 days. TFollowing the results, which were poor, it was decided that there should be an operation with a more powerful team of oncologists.«he added.
After not having obtained the expected results from the first operation, she underwent a second one, in which Mohs surgery was used, which consists of removing the cancer in several stages and under general anesthesia.
When consulted by Daniel Fuenzalida, Yulissa del Pino revealed that in the past she abused the use of the solarium. “Yes, on television it is like that, andIn winter it is pure solarium and in summer a lot of sun. The oncologist told me that a solarium session is equivalent to 20 sunstrokes,” added the former Miss Chile.
After the third operation, the cancer was finally completely removed, without complications for the remembered entertainer.
