June has begun, bringing with it one of the coldest and rainiest periods of the year, as well as the bad weather front that is expected to affect the Metropolitan Region (RM) in the coming days.
In mid-May, heavy rains captured public attention, causing road closures, of electricity and floods that affected various sectors of the capital. However, this climate persists, as several experts warn that low temperatures and precipitation will return.
When does the rain return to RM
According to the Meteored portal, The first week of June will be marked by low temperatures and cloudy skies. A minimum of 10°C and a maximum that will reach 20°C is expected this Monday, June 3.
On Saturday, June 8, Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10, rain is forecast in the capital with an intensity of 2.7 mm, 8.4 mm and 1.1 mm, respectively. You can check the image below.
According to Meteored, the rains in Santiago will continue until June 12 and 13, and then give way to the arrival of the sun, which will predominate during the day on Saturday the 15th.
