- From today, Monday, June 3, to Sunday, June 9, the Comedia Theater will host a series of talks and music around the Córdoba genre.

The Municipality of Córdoba invites you to participate in the cycle: “Cuarteteando en el Comedia: talks and music”. The activities will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday starting at 7 p.m. at the Teatro Comedia (Rivadavia 254).
Tickets will be free, with early withdrawal at the box office until room capacity is exhausted (from 4 p.m. on the day of the performance and two tickets per person).
The live broadcast will be available through Cuarteteando Más, Más Radio and Red de Repetidoras. In addition, the streaming option will be available on YouTube and El Doce TV.
The initiative is framed in the “Quartet Day” that is celebrated every June 4 in order to remember the rhythm that was born as a symbol of popular and massive appropriation, and that today defines and unites us.
This cycle is part of a series of public policies that seek to make the quartet visible as a central expression of our popular culture, positioning Córdoba as the cradle of the quartet, and projecting it internationally as a cultural and tourist node.
In that sense, work also continues on the genre’s nomination to UNESCO, to be declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
