Starting this Monday, June 3, registration is open for the Córdoba Language Center courses, the Córdoba Joven Agency program that offers free, entry-level training in the English, Portuguese, Italian, French and Mandarin Chinese languages.
Its classes are aimed at young people, aged 16 to 35, who live in the province of Córdoba. The course is carried out virtually and asynchronously, through the Campus Córdoba platform.
In addition to taking the teleclasses, where they work on oral and written comprehension and written production of each language, participants must pass intermediate self-assessments and a final integrative exam.
The application period will expire on Sunday, June 9 (inclusive), and classes will begin from June 19 to 27.
Those who wish to participate must register through the Single Applicant Form and complete the registration form for the Córdoba Language Center program. To do this, they must access cidi.cba.gov.ar and have CIDI Level 2.
Once the quota for each course is filled, with 5,000 participants each, registration for that language will automatically close.
The Córdoba Language Center is implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development and Employment Promotion, the General Secretariat of the Government and the Confucius Institute of the National University of Córdoba.
Characteristics
The courses at the Córdoba Language Center are communicative.
They are prepared so that students are in contact with the target language from the beginning of the training.
This creates a linguistic environment that allows them to delve into that code, without having to resort to translation.
In the case of languages that have more complex structures (such as English or Mandarin Chinese), translations are made during dictation.
The course is asynchronous (that is, at the time and time that the participant wishes) and is taught through the Campus Córdoba platform.
Each course has a capacity of 5,000 participants.
Participants will be able to register in one language.
Notifications about the start of the courses and obtaining the certification will be made through the email declared in the registration.
Each teleclass will have a self-assessment. The approval of each one will allow you to move on to the next module.
At the end of each course, after carrying out a final and integrative self-assessment, an Official Certificate issued by the Employment Secretariat of the Ministry of Social Development and Employment Promotion will be granted.
