Inspiring Girls Chile, Promoting the dreams and professional ambition of girls – Radio Universo

In 2017, Macarena Salosny Lagos undertook a trip to England with a clear purpose: to bring to Chile an organization that she discovered by chance on the web. This is Inspiring Girls, a global project present in 36 countries, whose mission is to increase the self-esteem and professional ambition of school-aged girls aged 12 and over.

The initiative is based on inspiring talks given by women from various professions and trades, who share their experiences and knowledge with young students. The objective is to promote the professional and work interests of girls, showing them that they can become leading women in any field they want.

Under the leadership of Macarena Salosny Lagos, Inspiring Girls Chile has made a significant impact in the country. To date, the Chilean chapter has reached more than 7,000 girls, giving them the opportunity to learn first-hand about the success stories and challenges overcome by outstanding women in their respective fields.
