The National Police captured two criminal actors dedicated to trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
‘El Topo’ and ‘El Gordo’ were caught with a large amount of narcotics in a property in the city.
The operation
The National Police, in conjunction with the Attorney General’s Office, through a search and raid of a property located in the Las Orquídeas neighborhood, in the 5th commune of Ibagué, captured two people known as ‘El Topo’ and ‘El Gordo’, who were seized 140,000 grams of marijuana, 32.5 grams of cocaine, two grameras, two cell phones, a scraper and a motorcycle.
Within the framework of this police action, they were captured in flagrante delicto two men, 23 and 35 years oldwho would be responsible for said elements within the property.

These criminal actors They present five records in the SPOA for the crimes of drug trafficking, theft, injuries, fraud and use of a false document and they were sheltered with an intramural security measure in a prison center.
Those captured were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority for the crimes of trafficking, manufacturing, possession of narcotics and illicit destination of furniture and real estate.

He Colonel Diego Edixon Mora Muñozstated that this operation is a testimony of the commitment and dedication of the men and women in the Ibagué Metropolitan Police. “Thanks to their tireless efforts and coordinated work, we have been able to deliver a decisive blow to the criminal networks that seek to poison our community and guarantee the safety of our citizens”indicated the colonel.
