This Sunday morning, a patricide occurred in the city of Chile Chico. A 17-year-old minor was arrested by police personnel after attacking his father with a knife.
According to the first investigations by the Public Ministry, a 41-year-old man arrived at the house of his ex-partner and mother of the minor, throwing stones and issuing threats to the entire family group, while intoxicated.

After the attack on the woman by her ex-partner, the minor intervened and attacked his father with blows and a knife, who died at 10:05 in the morning inside the Chile Chico Hospital.

Given the lack of an autopsy on the victim and after the Homicide Brigade took over the case, an extension of the minor’s detention was requested, which will be formalized on Wednesday morning, investigated for killing his father on Sunday morning in Chile Chico.
