He Ministry of Mining reconfirmed its commitment to Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)being Guillermo Olguín and Mariana Azcona, secretary and director of Sustainable Mining Development, respectivelythe representatives before the entity.

The accession of San Juan to the EITI is a reflection of its willingness to align itself with international best practices.
