Through the celebration of these agreements, in which the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine, also participated; the secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano; and the head of ENOHSA, Bartolomé Heredia; Each province undertakes to assume the financing or execution of the works detailed in the agreement.

Among those that were transferred, the construction of Child Development Centers (CDI), completion of hospitals, water works, sanitation and urban improvement, routes and roads, among others, stands out.

The agreements establish a framework for the distribution of financial and execution responsibilities between the Nation and the provinces, with the objective of optimizing the management and development of public works that are under execution.

“It is important that the provinces are responsible for those works that are carried out in their territory,” said Francos. “For a long time, we accepted the unitary management of the State as a whole, in which each jurisdiction depended on the requests it made to the national State. Today we are embarking on the path towards a serious federal system,” he concluded.
