Along with the warnings for strong winds, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) renewed its alerts for cold and extreme low temperatures for this Monday.
This is a yellow alert that applies to regions of the province of Buenos Aires, La Pampa, Córdoba, San Luis, Chubut and Santa Cruz.
In Buenos Aires it reached the regions of La Plata, Berisso and Ensenada, in the suburbs; and to northern and western regions of the interior of the Province.
The yellow level alert establishes a mild to moderate effect on health, according to the SMN system.
It implies, in this case, that temperatures can be dangerous, especially for risk groups, such as boys and girls, people over 65 years of age, with chronic diseases.
This advisory implies a moderate to high health effect, so temperatures can be very dangerous, especially for risk groups.
The red level warning means that heat can have a high to extreme effect on health. In this case, the temperatures are very dangerous, and can affect all people, even healthy ones.

An extreme temperature event is a period in which maximum and minimum temperature values are expected to be recorded that may endanger human health.
