The victim was identified as Johana Zabala Arenas, 49 years old, who died when she was hit by a truck in the Inderba pool area.
The tragic event occurred around noon on this holiday Monday, June 3, in the parking lots of the Inderba pools in Barrancabermeja.

According to the preliminary report, two women arrived at the scene in a white Nissan truck, with DUO-752 license plates.
One of them, apparently, was learning to drive while the other gave him driving advice from outside the vehicle.

“The lady was teaching the other woman how to drive. The driver accelerated the car and ran over the other. There are some workers there near her who tried to help her, but she was trapped by the tires,” said a witness.
The Barrancabermeja Volunteer Fire Department went to the scene and confirmed Johana’s death. The lifeguards with hydraulic jacks lifted the vehicle to remove her lifeless body.
The Barrancabermeja Traffic Inspection was in charge of removing the body and transferring it to the Institute of Legal Medicine.
The official report from the transit authorities of the Oil Port was awaited to confirm what happened.
