Mayor Genaro Redondo Choles, at the commissioning ceremony of the bridge, indicated that the work is 90 percent completed but it is already providing a great service, he indicated that it was necessary to enable it for the passage of vehicles because they are going to develop complementary works and it was necessary to have the space at the head of the old bridge.
The mayor feels sure that it is a great work and invited people to go to the bridge and ride it so that they can feel that it is an interesting work that will link two important sectors of the capital of Guajira.
Marisol’s fear of an accident
The work is practically ready and reversing it would generate much more expense and inconvenience than allowing it to continue at its pace, but there are neighbors of the work who continue to criticize them, considering that the way it was designed and built puts their physical integrity and safety at serious risk. until his life.
One of those citizens is Marisol Sierra Sierra, a woman who has her residence on the side of the road right in the direction where the bridge ends. “With the old bridge, more than one was about to crush us in the early mornings when no one is watching and now with this bridge that is representing greater risk, I don’t know what is going to happen, I sleep close to the wall that faces the street and everything I communicated that to Mayor Genaro, but he believes that nothing will happen.”.
Marisol is not the only one shown in disagreement with the final design of the bridge over the Ranchería River in Riohacha.
