The road accident occurred around 6 a.m. between Quimilí and Otumpa. The truck was driven by a man who lived in Chaco.
An unfortunate event occurred this morning in the route 92 between Quimilí and Otumpa. A bus transporting a group of students from Agrotechnical College suffered a mechanical failure which forced him to stop on the road.

According to police authorities, the incident took place around 6 hours. Some 10 students got off the bus and at that moment, they were violently collided by a Toyota Hilux truckdriven by a resident of Chaco, who nor would have been able to notice the presence of the stopped vehicle.
The crash left several seriously injured and a student identified as Alejandra Gomez he lost his life. There were moments of great anguish and consternation at the scene of the accident due to the desperate cries of the injured and their families, who gradually arrived at the site.
Police personnel from Department 12 intervened at the scene.
