The mayor of the Municipality of Lago Puelo, Iván Fernández, together with the vice mayor Pablo Lapitzondo and the Director of Sports Sergio Sumiza, received this Tuesday the President of Chubut Deportes, Milton Reyes.
The officials were able to talk about the multiple needs that Lago Puelo suffers from as a result of the apathy with which it was governed in recent years.
Mayor Fernández highlighted the urgent need to recover the municipal gym, which was received by the current management “as if a bomb had been dropped on it.”
In addition, he explained to the provincial officials that different arrangements are being made to the gym building with 100% municipal resources, to advance with the reconstruction.
Also participating in the meeting were provincial officials Darío Figueroa, Sports Manager, and Mariano Ferro, General Manager.
Prior to said meeting, the representatives of Chubut Deportes met with the Sports Director of Lago Puelo, Sergio Sumiza, and toured the Frontera, Defensores, Huemules, Club Andino and Club de Ajedrez clubs. Knowledge was taken of the sporting and institutional situation of each one, the needs in terms of infrastructure and future projects.
