After 6:30 p.m. this Tuesday, two sisters, aged 22 and 14, were murdered in a house in the Parada Acuña area, and the Colonia Libertad Police Station, which is about 30 kilometers from the place, intervened due to jurisdiction.
Although the motive for the double homicide is still in the investigation stage, sources in the case confirmed to El Litoral that the 22-year-old woman was brutally stabbed and it is believed that the minor also received a similar attack.
According to the first information, the incident was discovered by the husband of the eldest of the sisters, who upon arriving saw a man running out of his house. Upon entering the home he found the shocking scene and the lifeless bodies.
In addition, he would have recognized the alleged attacker as being an adult, close to the family.
During these hours, prosecutor Belén Arrúa de Monte Caseros is working at the scene, personally directing the investigation in order to clarify the shocking double homicide, which occurred in the small town located about 20 kilometers from the city of Curuzú Cuatiá.
Regional Unit III deployed specialized personnel that were made available to the Prosecutor.
