Two thieves were recorded on video when they stole an air conditioner from offices located in downtown San José.
The incident occurred the previous Sunday on Avenida 9, diagonal to the Hotel La Oficina.
Neighbors report being tired of what, they say, is an increase in antisocial people causing damage or theft in the area.
In the video recorded by one of the neighbors you can see how, in broad daylight, two subjects climb to the roofs, one of them manages to release an air conditioner and takes it to where the other person is, who helps him climb .
Even on several occasions the air conditioning falls on the first subject and hits him, but he continues trying to raise it until the second man manages to pass it between the razor wires, thus both of them escape.
Teletica.com consulted the San José Municipal Police about this fact and they indicated that, upon arriving at the site, the scene was already being handled by the Public Force, so they left.
While the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) explained that the subjects escaped, but that they are already on alert in the area to track them, since, apparently, they are already known to the authorities.
“San José Public Force indicates that they were alerted in the afternoon of this event, which occurred in the morning; However, it remains alert to find the individuals who apparently committed this act,” explained the MSP press office.
