More than 29,000 vehicles were mobilized on Cesar roads during the Corpus Christi bridge

The authorities carried out a road safety strategy during this Corpus Christi holiday weekend, called “Let’s celebrate as a family for road safety”, which aimed to guarantee safe mobility with the implementation of traffic accident prevention strategies.

More than 110 uniformed officers from the Transit section of the Valledupar Metropolitan Police were present in the six municipalities that make up the area, interposing 6 prevention points to exercise control, provide guidance and ensure safety on the roads.

In the middle of the controls it was found that 29,718 vehicles were mobilized on Cesar roads, of which 15,055 entered and 14,663 left. Just as 19,585 passengers arrived in Valledupar.

During this initiative, the Transit and Transportation Section participated, in coordination with the Road Safety Agency, the superintendence of transportationthe Yuma Ruta del Sol sector 3 concessionaire, the departmental Transit Secretariat, municipal transit secretariats, the National Army and relief agencies.
