Man died from scopolamine in his own apartment in Bogotá, this is what authorities say

The Ibagué Police recently reported that they managed to capture the person responsible for the death of a man for having been in contact with scopolamine in his own apartment in Bogotá, after the victim’s belongings were stolen.

The events date back to 2021, after Harold Antonio Franco Castro was murdered in his own apartment by a 33-year-old man.

“Thanks to joint investigative work carried out in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office, we have managed to capture one of those responsible for the murder of Harold Antonio Franco Castro in Bogotá. We will continue working tirelessly to combat these crimes and protect our citizens,” reported the Ibagué Police.

However, it was also reported that the case will continue to be investigated, taking into account that these events were allegedly carried out by a gang of apartment workers, so more people would be linked to the death of this man for having supplied him with scopolamine.
