San Luis Potosí, SLP.- After a week of talent demonstration, more than a thousand students from the four regions successfully concluded the second “State Festival of Artistic and Cultural Values of the Educational Sector 2024” held by the Secretary of Education of the State Government (SEGE), in disciplines such as: oratory, declamation, traditional music, interpretation of the Mexican National Anthem, folk dance and literary expression of national symbols.
The closing of the event was held at the Peace Theater, where secondary school students demonstrated their talent in different disciplines, achieving a higher participation than the last edition, which reaffirms the commitment of the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, to provide more support to minors for their comprehensive development.
The head of the department, Juan Carlos Torres Cedillo, said that these spaces are used to consolidate themselves as a meeting place for girls, boys and adolescents, “and that their coexistence becomes a place of fraternity that facilitates cultural expressions where one recognizes oneself in the other.”
