The criminal proceedings against former president Álvaro Uribe for alleged bribery of witnesses and procedural fraud will have a new change of prosecutor, since Gilberto Villarreal will deliver the file to Marlenne Orjuelanew delegate to the Supreme Court.

The change is due to an announcement that the prosecuting body made a couple of months ago, related to the fact that several prosecutors delegated to the high court were going to return to their original positions, and among them was the name of Villarreal, who was the one who accused Uribe, adding the crime of bribery.
With this, there are now six prosecutors who have heard about this process against the former president and former senator. The first was Gabriel Jaimes, who requested the first estoppel in favor of Uribe; then he was in front Javier Cardenas, who also failed in the second estoppel; Then Andrés Palencia, Víctor Salcedo, Gilberto Villarreal passed and now it will be Marlenne Orjuela.
