Preliminary medico-legal conclusions indicate that the death of the young man would have been caused by congestion and pulmonary edema, a consequence of acute cardiorespiratory failure. However, the hypothesis is subject to confirmation by additional tests that will be carried out to completely clarify the causes of death.
Investigation sources indicated that what was known now is the “macroscopic stage of the autopsy”, so now the chemical expertise remains. Specifically, the boy died due to heart malfunction, meaning there was no traumatic death. The histochemical report can shed light on why the young man’s heart failed.
According to the first information about the case, the teenager was playing soccer when he suffered a decompensation. The witnesses quickly alerted the authorities, and the first troops to arrive began resuscitation tasks until the paramedics arrived.
