Clínica Los Rosales received unannounced inspection from the Pereira Health Secretariat

After inspecting the four towers and all the medical services provided by the Los Rosales clinic, the Pereira Health Secretariat granted a favorable opinion to the healthcare center, ruling out the presence of pests or rodents that put the asepsis of the place at risk.

After a new complaint that set off alarms in the environmental area of ​​the secretariat, a technical team went without prior notice to the facilities of the renowned clinic.

In her report, Andrea Jara, coordinator of the Environmental Area, highlighted that “going beyond the complaint, we carried out a complete inspection, surveillance and control visit, where we visited all the areas one by one, including hospitalization, ICU, emergencies, observation rooms, outpatient clinic, morgue, common areas and intermediate and central temporary storage areas, in none of them did we find rodents or traces of them, however, on the outside of the clinic we placed Rodenticide and sensitized street food vendors against the disposal of waste, this for preventive purposes.”

Likewise, the official indicated that the clinic administration must make some adjustments in the locative part, such as humidity, painting and finishing issues.

Finally, from the environmental area it was indicated that this type of operations will continue until it covers all the IPS of the municipality and establishments dedicated to the preparation and sale of food.
