The decision
This Tuesday night, the Mayor’s Office reported that through resolution number 1400-1346 of June 4, 2024total non-compliance with public works contract number 1312 of April 19, 2023 was declared (60th Street Bridge), held between the municipality of Ibagué and the Puente Carrera 5 Consortium.
According to information, this decision had Factual and legal support for the contractor’s non-compliance. “The foregoing results in the protection of the general interest, safeguarding the treasury and the cessation of possible damage caused by the lack of execution of the contractual object”indicated from the municipal administration.

Likewise, they highlighted that a fine was imposed on the contractor in the amount of $3,914,637,659, equivalent to 10% of the value of the work contract.
Likewise, the support of the control, inspection and surveillance entities, “whose management has been duly informed about the opening and development of the sanctioning process.”
