The most affected areas, among others, are Sábanas de Peralejo, Buenavista, Vereda la Isla, Los Galvis, the Moja Albarca bridge, the destroyed section of the reeds among other low areas.
The community calls on the local authorities and the Government of Magdalena to be in contact with Mayor Jivanildo Bordeth Meriño, who stated “We are aware of the situation, we are already delegated officials to the territory and are attentive to the reports from the communities, the reports They are severely affected, isolated populations, currently he found me in different ministries in the city of Bogotá, filing projects and exposing these cases,” said the president.
The activation of contingency plans, monitoring and accompaniment of this situation by local and departmental authorities is expected.
