Ipross cut benefits with a mental health center in Roca due to irregularities

The controversy continues after Ipross’s complaint for defrauding a mental health institute in Roca. Now the head of the provincial social work, Marcela Ávila, confirmed that Ipross broke the benefit link with that mental health center. The resolution was taken within the framework of the presentation of a criminal complaint.

Ávila explained that These audits began before his administration on December 11. “It was verified that the number of members who were in the establishment that operates as a day hospital was significantly less than the payroll that was billed and that Ipross paid monthly,” he said.

“The Ipross was informed from this place that 43 people affiliated with social work were receiving benefits but there were only five”highlighted the head of the social work.

It should be remembered that social work reported three cases of fraudulent maneuvers before the Justice detected after rigorous audits carried out since the beginning of the management.

“We are carrying out controls and audits. We have even implemented field audits, which imply that teams Doctors, social workers, and disability directorate personnel visit different centers that provide benefits. to members of our social work,” Ávila explained about the work methodology implemented to guarantee the attention of members.

Regarding the future, he reflected: “We are still working analogically at Ipross and that is why the digital transformation process is so important, which will involve streamlining the processes, the procedures that the member has to carry out with the social work but It will also allow us to be more efficient in controls.”
