A 23-year-old young man was arrested by the Federal Police in CABA, after disseminating and sharing information about the preparation against the Jewish and LGBT communities. I used Telegram, where he had a channel called “Nazi chat” and weapons, ammunition and explosives were seized from the house.
The Argentine Federal Police arrested a man accused of disseminating content and sharing information on social networks about the preparation of attacks against the Jewish and LGBT communities. In his home in the Parque Avellaneda neighborhood of Buenos Aires, an important volume of Nazi bibliography was also found, including magazines, pamphlets, drawings and a book about serial killers.
The investigation began following reports from the Specialized Cybercrime Fiscal Unit (UFECI), which indicated that the suspect used Telegram to disseminate content and share information about the preparation of attacks against the Jewish and LGBT communities. Through a channel called “Nazi chat” was related to people of the same ideology where he made statements such as: “My dream is to exterminate Jews and gays.”
cWith these reports, the National Criminal and Federal Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 12, headed by Alejandra Mangano, Secretary of Carina Jaime, ordered the agents of the Unit Department of Anti-Terrorist Investigation (DUIA) of the PFA, carry out a series of inquiries to identify the person responsible and know their whereabouts.
After analyzing the informationthe officers determined that the man resided in a home located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque Avellaneda.
With the evidence obtained, Judge Ariel Lijo, in charge of the National Criminal and Federal Correctional Court No. 6, ordered a search at that homewhere the accused, a 23-year-old young man, was arrested.
In the raided home, the PFA seized weapons, ammunition and explosives, including a 22 caliber pistol with bullets, 6 shotgun cartridges, 3 harassment gas grenades, a smoke flare, several compressed air weapons, katanas and other bladed weapons of different sizes, a faca; an important volume of Nazi bibliography, including magazines, pamphlets, drawings and a book about serial killers.
Among the seized materialand found several communications equipment and various electronic devices, such as cell phones, pen drives, computers and tablets, which will be analyzed by forensics in order to deepen the investigation.
The detainee, an Argentine citizen of legal age, was placed at the disposal of the Intervening Magistrate for the case he is being instructed on. «Public Intimidation and Violation of Law 23,592, article 3».
