Leuris Pupo and Jorge Félix Álvarez were unable to reach the final of the 25-meter rapid pistol at the Munich 2024 Rifle and Pistol World Cup.

Pupo, seventh in the first stage, with 293 points, lost places in the playoffs, achieving only 85 points in the last round. Previously, he had reached 96 and 99, adding 280, for a total of 573. With this balance, he finished in 38th place.

Jorge Félix climbed positions, rising from 21st (on the previous day) to eighth, thanks to a sequence of 100, 99 and 98 (297), and a total of 586 points.

The top six advanced to the final, among them the Germans Florian Peter – who equaled the world record, with 593 points – and Christian Reitz, Rio 2016 Olympic champion.

At the close of the day this Tuesday, China leads the medal table with three titles (including Lihao Sheng’s world record, with 254.5 points in the ten-meter air rifle) and two bronze medals.
