Accordingly, practical activities were carried out at the Liceo Luisa Rabanal Palma, where the students participated in a series of classroom workshops, where they were able to delve deeper into fundamental theoretical concepts for their training. In addition, practical sessions were held in the training yard, where students applied what they learned in a controlled and safe environment, strengthening their practical and technical skills.

In addition, the students visited the Chile Chico Power Plant, where they had the opportunity to learn up close about the operation of a power plant, interact with professionals from the sector, and understand the importance of energy generation and distribution in the region.

“We are very proud to be able to offer these educational experiences to the Liceo Luisa Rabanal Palma de Chile Chico. We believe that the combination of theory and practice, along with visits to facilities, is essential for quality technical education,” said Patricio Raimilla, head of Customer Service at Edelaysen.

For his part, Raúl Retamal, professor of the establishment’s specialty in electricity, mentioned “As a teacher, it is important for me that students know firsthand how an electrical company operates. One always mentions what the job of a distributor is, but it is not the same when a company comes, gives talks, I really liked the security thing and the guys also, what is the job that is done in security whether outside of The plant, as well as internally, also sheds light on the work that is done in the classroom and in generation, how energy is generated and distributed and from my point of view it is something very good for the boys.”

These initiatives not only enrich young students but also inspire them to pursue technical careers. In this way, Edelaysen remains committed to the educational and professional development of young people in the region, working in close collaboration with electrical high schools to ensure comprehensive and high-quality training.
