The general assembly of shareholders of Bolívar EPS health presented to the National Health Superintendency the voluntary withdrawal request and total of the health program as a health promoting entity (EPS).

“At Salud Bolívar EPS we will remain committed to guaranteeing the continuity of care and comprehensive and timely provision of services to the nearly 3,500 members in Bogotá,” he indicated.

This is the third EPS that in the country and in this government has expressed voluntary retirement as EPS to guarantee the care of its members and avoid further impact on the company and patients.

The first to request voluntary withdrawal was Compensar, which had already presented the documentation requested by Supersalud, then it was EPS Sura, which indicated that this decision was made to avoid an administrative intervention and now the turn is for Salud Bolívar, which has its largest population in Bogotá.
