An incident of insecurity that occurred this Tuesday night left a scared girl and a beaten criminal. The event took place in a group of Grupo 600 when a criminal stole the cell phone from a 12-year-old girl who was traveling with her older brother.

The episode occurred minutes before 9 p.m., when the unit was traveling through Godoy Cruz Avenue and street July 9th, from the City of Mendoza. There a subject snatched a Motorola G32 from the minor, then she got off the bus and started running.

The suspect began his escape towards the north of 9 de Julio, but at that moment a municipal transit official who was riding a motorcycle at the intersection of España and Eusebio Blanco streets, was alerted to the fact, so he went after the thief. Finally, after a pack chase, the criminal was intercepted on España Street, where the young people who were chasing him beat him up. When the municipal employee got off his motorcycle, he immobilized him while waiting for the police officers to arrest him.

The perpetrator of the crime was identified as Alejandro Andrés Moreno, 30 years old, who was move it to the Third Police Stationwhere it was made available to the Tax Office No. 1. Due to the traumatic event, the girl had to receive professional assistance because she suffered a panic attack.
