The authorities are investigating the case of a woman murdered with a firearm, who was attacked last Wednesday, June 5, in the San Bernando neighborhood, Belén.
According to police reports, the attacker, aboard a motorcycle, approached the victim and shot without saying a word, and then fled.
The murdered woman was identified as DB Jiménez, 51 years old, who was originally from Cocorná.

The authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the facts and find those responsible for this heinous crime.
After Jiménez’s death was announced, the Cocorná mayor’s office regretted the tragedy and offered its condolences to the victim’s family.
«We extend our most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. May they find comfort in love. “Shared memories, that can find strength in mutual support”they indicated in a statement through social networks.

This case becomes the eleventh murder of a woman in Medellín so far in 2024.
It is hoped that investigations will shed light on this case and that those responsible will be brought to justice.
