Within the framework of the “Classrooms in nature” project, teachers from the Almafuerte School held a work meeting in the Andrés Guacurarí Library of the Enrique Berduc Rural School Park (Pereb) on teaching practices to learn about bibliography linked to biodiversity and atmosphere.

The teaching group used the resources provided by the library specialized in natural sciences and explored the different areas of the park.

The Classrooms to Nature project aims to bring schools closer to the park, generating educational and recreational experiences for students and teachers, which allow them to jointly build the appreciation of the natural and cultural resources of the region, promoting their knowledge, care and enjoyment. .

“The main objective of these activities is to encourage student teachers to connect with a wide variety of bibliographic sources intended for teachers, in addition to becoming familiar with specific materials designed for the primary level. It is an opportunity for future teachers to explore and learn recreationally about the rich natural environment that our region offers,” said Griselda Urich, a member of Pereb.

“With initiatives like this, a more dynamic education connected to the park is promoted, enriching the learning process and raising awareness in the community about the importance of environmental conservation,” added Urich.
