The Government of the Province, through the Institute of Culture of Corrientes, opens the call to participate in the 2024 Correntino Cultural Games, aimed at young people (12 to 18 years old) and older adults from across the province, who stand out in different disciplines. artistic. The contest will take place from June to October, with competitions in singing, dance, musical ensemble, theater, drawing/painting, story, poetry, photography, comic strip, short video and freestyle.
This is the nineteenth edition of the Correntino Cultural Games, which is part of the annual agenda of the Corrientes Institute of Culture, under the coordination of the Directorate of Institutional Relations and with joint work with more than 30 municipalities in the interior of the province, through of their respective culture directorates.
This program has been carried out since 2006 with the aim of promoting artistic and creative activity among children and adolescents – and also older adults -, particularly those who are in a situation of greater social vulnerability, generating greater possibilities of social inclusion through art.
Young people from 12 to 18 years old, older adults and people with disabilities (12 to 18 years old) can participate in the disciplines: solo singing, dance (individual and couple), musical ensemble, theater (one-person and group), drawing/painting, story , poetry, photography, comics, video minutes and freestyle.

Instances
During the month of June, the call to participate in the municipal body will be made. In July and August, the selective ones will be held in each commune that adheres to the provincial program, and in the month of September the regional ones will be held in five points of the province.
Those who are chosen in each of the artistic disciplines will be part of the provincial final that will take place in a city in the interior, as has already been happening in the last editions of the Games, in a decision of the Provincial Government that ratifies the course of this program, consolidating itself as the most federal of those coordinated by the Institute of Culture.
