In the last few hours, a resident of the town of Suba recounted how she had to jump from a moving car after the driver of an Uber deviated from the indicated route, in an alleged case of sexual harassment. According to Zulay Riascos, the man justified the detour by claiming that he would show him a shortcut, which generated his distrust.

Through a conversation with the victim on the station Blu RadioThe woman said that everything happened after a meeting with friends, after which she requested an Uber to return home. But during the trip, the driver took a different route than the one indicated by the application, which led to an argument.

Despite her requests to stop the vehicle, the subject would not have agreed, forcing her to make the drastic decision of removing her seat belt and jumping out of the moving car to escape.

After the incident, Riascos requested the assistance of the Police, who informed him that they could not proceed with the capture of the driver of the Renault Logan with DTR 735 plates, since there was no flagrante delicto. When he went to the La Granja URI, the security personnel told him that they only received special cases between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.

The victim added that the following morning, she tried to report the incident through the Uber platform, but found her account blocked. After leaving several comments about the case since Sunday, June 23, her account was reactivated on Wednesday morning, June 26.
