This week there was again news of a threat to staff of the Inpecthe victim being Major Nancy del Socorro Pérezdirector in charge of the La Modelo prison, in Bogotá, against whom they released a pamphlet that is in the possession of the authorities and which led to an arrest.

For the authorities, the person who would be behind these acts is Jhon Keneber Cárdenas, alias El Cebollero or Kener, who has a criminal record that has kept him in jail for years, and who added to this has been behind threats to the guard and leadership of Inpec. He also had this alias of ‘el Cebollero’ Alirio de Jesús Rendónwho was captured in 2008 for several homicides in Envigado and Itagüí, Antioquia, and who is not related to the recent pamphlets.
The threat to the director of Inpec came less than a month after taking up that position, replacing the retired colonel Élmer Fernándezwho was murdered with a firearm in the town of Barrios Unidos, in Bogotá, generating fear in the guard about the security that could be provided to them.

The detainee is in the La Picota prison, Bogotáand on previous occasions he has released videos or pamphlets talking about his threats, one of them directed against the guard in several cities in the country.

The profile of ‘El Cebollero’

This is for all public opinion, the Police, the Army and the media,” the letter said, for a time when ‘el Cebollero’ was detained in the capital of Cauca.
