The I Know Missions with my School Program led by Undersecretary Cristian Robert Acuña continues to provide opportunities to missionary students. On this occasion, the 4th grade students of School 820 in Barrio El Porvenir lived a different educational experience by visiting the Cruz de Santa Ana Theme Park and the Jesuit Reductions of San Ignacio.

Very early, the morning of the students of School No. 820 began with great excitement and anxiety; The boys knew that a different, special and long-awaited day was beginning for them since they were beneficiaries of the raffle for the I Know Misiones Program with my School, knowing that a great adventure was beginning.

The students, accompanied by teachers and members of the Conozco Misiones team, embarked on the path towards an innovative experience to learn a little more about two of the most emblematic tourist places in our Province, destinations chosen by them at the time of registration for the travel raffle. educational.

Around 10 in the morning the contingent arrived at the first point of the itinerary: the Jesuit Reductions of Santa Ana where they learned about history and also much of the mystique of this cultural heritage; Seeing the oldest buildings in our land and the force of nature in the same place generated a lot of surprise in the children, who kept asking details of the guide who accompanied them on this part of the itinerary.

Then, the tour continued in the “Cruz de Santa Ana” theme park, with surprise, especially from the children who did not know it, little by little they began to immortalize the moment with selfies, group photos and their gaze on the immensity of the Cross. They climbed to the upper levels of the Cross to take photos, enjoy the panoramic view and the grandeur of the landscape, then completing the trails, surprised by the variety of greens that our province presents, pure nature, and closing the tour with a visit to the butterfly garden.

Undersecretary Cristian Acuña commented that the immediate purpose of this proposal is to bring innovative educational experiences to missionary children, always with the objective of learning and discovering our province in a different way, promoting the right of access to the geographical and cultural diversity of Misiones. , offering an experience that links the school life of the classroom with the social environment. Experiences that undoubtedly help our children in their development as citizens. He also reported that these actions would not be possible without the support of the provincial government.

Halfway through the trip, each of the students received a Sustainable Learning Kit as a present that includes a plantable pencil, literary texts related to the biodiversity of our province, school supplies and different recreational tools for learning with sustainable themes.

In this first stage, there were 20 institutions that benefited from the trips, schools from all over Misiones, and the destination options to choose from are San Ignacio, Santa Ana and Posadas.
